Time for another recipe from the inspiring new book by Joy Bauer, The Joy Fit Club — Decadent Chocolate Mousse with Berries. Normally I’d say I’m not a fan of low-fat desserts, but this is really good. You can check out the recipe on Amazon.com – nonfat milk, just 1 ounce of chocolate, 1/3 cup whipping cream. I know it sounds a little lean, but trust me, this is creamy chocolate satisfaction.
I’ll probably start making this for friends and not telling them it’s light on fat. I tried to get a photo to show you the texture, thick and creamy. Well, I’m not sure the photo does it justice. You might have to give the recipe a try yourself. Note: This drawing is now closed. And just a reminder, if you live in the U.S. or Canada, I’m doing a drawing for a copy of the book at the end of Thursday, April 26. You can post a comment either below or on the recent pork chop post — either way is fine with me. Good luck.

you have made me very interested in this book. I also happen to LOVE chocolate mousse and will be trying out this recipe.I would love to have the book and see what other yummy things are in there.
A good cool & creamy chocolate mousse is probably my ideal dessert. I suppose I’ll have to try it soon — either from my kitchen or next time I come to NY (hint hint). =)
Such a rare treat that I get to sit down, read some of my favorite blogs. And actually comment. I am in fact here, and I love chocolate and raspberries!
Anything with chocolate works for me. Thanks for the offer!
