I just finished up my first of two bread photo shoots I’m doing in the next month or so. I think I’m all “breaded” out. Yes, I took home the olive-rosemary loaf for snacking, but after sampling (okay, munching on) 18 different breads in two days, I’m done. Suddenly salad sounds really great to me.
I’m sorry that these piles of leftover bread don’t do justice to Brian Preston-Campbell’s terrific food styling. I was just so amused by the stacks on the side tables, I had to take a few snapshots. And for now, you’ll have to wait to hear more about this very cool cookbook. It’s coming out soon, like in 3 or 4 months, so email me then or check back here for more info.
This last shot is of photographer Alexandra Grablewski in action. (Great job, Alex.) She said some stuff at the shoot that made me realize maybe she’s not a big fan of people taking photos of her taking photos, so let’s just keep it a secret. She probably doesn’t read my blog anyway!
