gluten-free and not so gluten-free

Gluten-Free Girl and the Chef
I’ll let Shauna James Ahern have the scoop when her next book is published, but I thought I’d take this chance to tease you about it a little, while it’s still in production. I received these gorgeous unbound pages the other day. It’s the last step before the jacket is printed, the cases are made, and the whole thing is turned into a real-live book. If you’re anything like me, you probably already know and love Gluten-Free Girl’s amazing blog, and this will be her first cookbook, due out this Fall. It’s the rare kind of cookbook you’re going to want to read from cover to cover. You’ll want to keep it on your nightstand (when you’re not cooking from it). Yes, you can pre-order it on Amazon.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
These cookies are definitely not gluten-free, hence the name of the post. I raved about those Nestle peanut butter & chocolate chips when I made the amazing bars from the recipe on the package. The recipe for these cookies is also right off the package.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
I guess they’re nothing special, except that I totally love peanut butter and chocolate together, so of course I loved these cookies. I swear I’m not on Nestle’s payroll, but if your taste in sweets is anything like mine, I urge you to try these out.
