Clearly I’m a fan of Jenny Flake’s first book, The Picky Palate Cookbook. Here’s another winner from that “Slow and Low” chapter I was raving about. If you live here in the northeast like I do and are expecting to be stuck indoors for the next couple of days, and maybe you’ve got some frozen corn in the freezer, this is a good way to go. It’s called Hearty Ham and Cheddar Corn Chowder. I know, I know, how can you have so many awesome things in one recipe? Well, that’s what Jenny does best.
